Gaza Peace Plan Endorsed – The Israeli Knesset voted 39–0 to endorse a 20-point Gaza peace plan, though the vote was boycotted by member parties of the Netanyahu government.[1] Meanwhile, fourteen people were killed in Gaza, including three children who died of hypothermia, during a severe storm, with at least 13 homes previously damaged by Israel collapsing.[1]
Myanmar Hospital Airstrike – At least 34 people were killed and 80 more injured in a Tatmadaw airstrike on a hospital in Mrauk U, Rakhine State, Myanmar.[1]
Syria Conflict Escalation – An attacker identified as an ISIL member opened fire on a joint Syrian and American convoy in Palmyra, killing two U.S. service members and one American civilian interpreter, with three others injured before the attacker was killed by return fire.[1] Additionally, four security force members were killed and another injured in a mass shooting in Idlib, Syria.[1]
